hardarg
Hello! I've been having texture problems with a custom armor model I made, it shows fine in the toolset and in 3ds max, but ingame... http://i60.tinypic.com/10e109l.png I'm not sure what causes this, I've redone the meshes and textures, but still get the same result. I'm out of ideas in how to fix this, any help is greatly appreciated. The shine evens out on some angles depending on the lighting source, which I can bear with, but the shiny skin on the other hand... Risibisi
Ah, I've seen this before with frankensteined armors...hm, when I remember it correctly it has something to do with your alpha layer but I'm not sure. You can try to pm Skaramoosh. She had the same problem and I'm sure when she has time she will answer you and give you a tip. :smile:I will link you to her mod so you could use there the pm button. http://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/4127/? Another possibility is to ask in the Bioware Social Network forum. DarthParametric is very helpful and works with max too as far as I know. hardarg
thanks for replying, Risibisi  I have actually solved the problem just now, I've been looking through the texture maps from other mods and found it was actually my normal and specular textures that was causing it. Apparently the clothing was too bright and white. I'm still not used to how normal maps are done in DAO, its a lot different from Skyrim.
