enderee
So i dont need any mod manager? I heard its necessaryomfg why is this so complicated. Why cant u just tell me step by step what to do. am i asking for so much? i need to know about everything, and what each mod does. Descriptions of these mods sucks they says nothing about the mod itself. i think fallout 4 wont be out before 2014 so i want to play this but i guess its too f***ing hard Edited November 24, 2010 by enderee
satanslilhelper
You don't need an esp for texture replacers. As long as you place the textures and meshes folders in your data folder (you did install some meshes too right?) and you've installed ArchiveInvalidation, you're good to go.For instructions on how to install mods, there are several atricles on this in the Articles section - this one, for example, or this one. You'll get there! Oh, and did you know Fallout New Vegas is out already? It's kinda Fallout 4. Edited November 24, 2010 by satanslilhelper

satanslilhelper
OK.Meshes change how an object is shaped, textures just change the "paint" on the object. So you need both. On the Type 3 page, 2 of the 6 files have the word "Required" in the description. Those are the 2 you need. Read the articles I linked to in my previous post and the text documents in the downloaded packages and you will have all the info you need to install.AFAIK regarding patches you can go straight to 1.7, but I could be wrong. DigitalVixen
@enderee: I really would recommend you to install this mod: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=8942 It includes everything you are asking for. New models, hairs, textures - the works. Simple installation and good instructions on the description page. This minimizes the amount of mods you'd need installed to get what you want. Good luck! enderee
Ok i see this forum sux and i wont get any help, and i could ask for instructions million times and nobody is gonna answer me. I said step by f***ing step. Every ling i need and in what order do i have to install mods. There w milions of readmes in those files, my english sux, sorry i only asked u for ur help but i guess ur too retarded so yeah u can ban me now like i give a f*** If you weren't so hostile and insulting of those who were trying to help, maybe they'd be more inclined to help you. Maybe if you realized for a moment that many things with modding can't just be explained in simple terms, you could save us all some time. Modding is hard stuff; thankless, foul mouthed persons who want everything handed to them on a silver platter tend to be ignored first, and banned second. This is your warning. If you don't like this community then I would suggest another, although I would suggest that the result would be the same anywhere, even on a site in your own language. -Vagrant0 Edited November 26, 2010 by Vagrant0
