Power Armor (t-45d) backpack help

How can I remove the T-45d backpack in GECK? To make it look like when you have the Gauss rifle equipted in fallout 3 (possibly a bug). I've searched all over the fnv.esm in geck but can't find what to do? Does unchecking 'has backpack' (for t-45d) actually remove the model of the pack? Or does it just change the clipping of where your gun holsters.

If you have any type of power armor equipped at the same time the rifle is equipped, the air tanks and valve on the armor will disappear. This is because it has the "hide backpack" flag marked, despite not having a backpack component like other weapons with this flag (minigun, Gatling laser, etc).

lol. don't know that somebody still doesn't know it here lol

actually yes, if you uncheck "has backpack" it will mean that when you equip weapon with ammo for the back, armor backpack will disappear - that's all

 

to remove gas tanks from the armor's back you should find related armor list in "form list" and delete the backpack armor addon in it. there must be also gloves addon

I also realised that the t-45d power armor doesn't even have 'has backpack' checked. Neither with the NCR salvaged power armor... no wonder all the guns have weird clipping issues.

the main differents between t-45d and ncr salvaged is that t-45 has backpack separated from armor mesh itself. but ncr salvaged has combined backpack with armor mesh itself. so u cannot do anything with ncr salvaged clipping issues
