nullit
I have been rooting around my meshes/texture folders looking for the original meshes for armor and weapons, but for some reason i can only see all the mods i have installed, when i check the geck for the file path of any in-game weapon or armor it says it should be right where im looking. quite frustrating. i have turned off the hidden content option for my folders but still nothing. anyone else had this issue before? Pronam
It's the way Bethesda works with their files. They are all compressed an put into the .BSA archive files, so they will be protected (mainly from deletion, but it also decreases the filesize.). Inside the .BSA they have the same directories/folders as you're watching now. Only very few files are kept outside of it. With the fallout nv mod manager you can open the meshes and textures.bsa archives, and there'll be an option to extract them. The best is NOT to do this inside your normal textures/meshes folder.
