chazzerman286
I created a mesh in Blender and, since I don't really understand UV mapping, I used the 10mm Pistol .dds texture. When I export it as a .nif file and open it in NifSkope, this is what I get:http://img684.imageshack.us/img684/3739/nifskopeproblem.jpgThere is no way I can find of changing the texture to the one I assigned. Please help...
Nadimos
There are tutorials for Blender and Oblivion. Try the one from Mr. Silka or the other dude, who made a whole bunch of videos, whose name i cannot come up with right now. It will tell you how to texture. Simply making an uvmap is not enough in blender. Afterwards the texture needs to be set, only then the tree will appear. Just dont be overhelmed. CiberX15
did you try it in game or in GECK, my nifskope dosent show the textures becaus i dont usualy unpack them, even if its not uvmaped it should automaticaly just lump the texture on. if thats the case you can unpack the textures from the "Fallout - Textures.bsa" they will be in a folder identical to that of the weapon moddle, ie. /weapons/1handPistol/, then UV Unrap in blender and open the textuer in blender and map your object to that. Heres a tutorial for the UV mapping (http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Blender_3D:_Noob_to_Pro/UV_Map_Basics) Edited November 26, 2010 by CiberX15
