TallgeeseIV
There is someone in the request area asking for this exact thing. I'd say pop over there and see if he wants it? If someone can make it aim with the other gun when aiming iron sights, you would just need to animate the firing and add the muzzle flash and you have a very good dual wielding mod. You don't need to have the second gun actually fire anything, its just a special effect. This is cool man, and I hear you on the scripting thing, I'm having all kinds of frustration myself. actually, do the animation like that with the nuzzle flash. then change the main hand weapon to fire 2 bullets in-staid of 1 :)you can easily change the number of projectiles in the edit menu for the weapon in GECK. that isn't a bad idea. if i increase the spread a bit, give it a 0.0 chance of a tracer coming out, and move the projectile node out between the two guns, you wouldn't even really notice. the animation is the part i'm not sure how to do, or if you even can... And scripting guns to use a certain animation can really be a burden.
Syonryoken
well Ill be the first to say I would give up a gun type to have a dual wield animation Edited November 30, 2010 by Syonryoken
TallgeeseIV
Haha, yeah, pretty easily actually. i don't see a problem with just switching the regular 1 hand pistol animations for all dual animations... i've never played a game and thought "man, this dual wielding is great, but i'd be having more fun if i was only shooting ONE pistol..." Syonryoken
Exactly how I feel. I would absolutely love for someone to come by and do this. I think the majority of the people in this community would give up one weapon slot for dual wielding. I mean its just too good. I hop someone figures it out soon!
