question on tutorial on installing mods with fallout mod manager.

is there a tutorial somewhere on how to do this? I just install the mod manually and fomm finds it. However, I have been getting crashes so maybe there is a conflict. I think fomm might be able to figure where conflict is. Anyway, if someone could show me a tutorial on how to use fomm to install a mod I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!
