That's all well in good when your helping a junkie from Freeside detox or are elbow deep in making stimpaks but are the sciences that they up hold limited to medicine only? What about the scavengers that go digging around for pre-war tech, chems and supplies or the guy stripping down all of the machinery and electronics. What about the Follower that wants to drop the stuffy coat so that he can move around and roll up his sleeves and get his hands dirty. Okay so with that over my request is a new jumpsuit colored like the jumpsuit seen under Followers coat. The style is up to you, the civilian engineer jumpsuit is the right color just needs a logo replacement or the Vault 3 utility jumpsuit matches the model style in the same way the Follower's coat matches the Vault lab uniform. It's sadly needs a complete re-color and a sweet Follower logo. I just wanted to bring this to the forums due to the complete lack of diversity for the FoA. Might be useful to add a prospectors outfit as well (with some customizations, to give it a unique flavor) but having all three tied together by having the same size and logo placement. dark9834 Posted March 25, 2015 Author Share Posted March 25, 2015 (edited) The idea is to one day in the mythical future when my computer can handle making mods and such I'm gonna try my hand at enhancing the FoA faction some what like both the NCR and the Legion have been done.New armors and clothingNew companions and questsNew perks and weapons I've started mapping it out notes on top of notes while trying to keep well within the limits of the engine but I'm not gonna start asking for "team" help or anything till I've got some thing substantial. p.s. If he gets tied up I can cover for him. I'm working on a independent NV and a NCR NV that extends the game beyond Hoover battle. I'v always thought the followers were an interesting faction that the game could have really developed and fleshed out better. I know this is simply posts on their outfits, but I believe a more comprehensive thread that really expands on the faction as a whole would be popular among many players. It could tie into a multitude of quests and history. You could have anything from expansive humanitarian missions (plague, war zones) to something as simple as a drilling a well for a small settlement. I believe the recent thread "Stop chasing the poor animal" shows there is a lot of interest in altruistic missions/quests, and I can't think of anyone better than the followers as the quest originators. I didn't really like the white of the civilian hoover dam engineers but I can't say this is much better. And devin I would love to see that happen, I'm more then down to join in the conversation. I'm not able to contribute more then that sadly due to crap PC but I have an alright understanding of the games limits in a tech sense and a really would love to see the world fleshed out even more while honoring the canon lore.
