Hey all!

 

How can i remove the "strips" on a game model? Im trying to remove the scope of the Anti-Materiel Rifle, but even when i have a strip selected, i cant remove it.

Right click in the block list of the item, and click remove branch.

But the scope isn't in a separate branch, it's part of the main gun branch

NM got it. Looks like you won't be able to do it in GECK, you will have to export to a 3D program.

The path of the whole mesh of the gun? meshes\weapons\2handrifle\antimaterialrifle.nif

 

Or r u talking about the path with the mesh in Nifskope?

What 3d modeling programs could i use if it's a NIF?

To do NIFs you need.

Blender nif plugin 2.5.5

 

 

Then you can do an import into blender, and also an export into NIF. It can be tricky though. I would try modding something simple like the carton of cigerretes first.
