Gashjackel
Been fiddling with the cyber arm mod from Fallout 3 http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=14676 Been having issues with it mostly textures and such nothing serious as I can rip the textures from the Fallout 3 BSA's and put them where they're needed. The problem is that when I put the arm on it doesn''t replace the arm completely. The arm is still there causing my new metal arm to clip like a motherf***er. Anyone able to fix that? Or maybe tell me how to get it working?
syphek
dont replace the arm? make it a armor or clothing? just make it add shape and color to the existing arm, in other words work around whats already there. just and idea. add metal plates, wires, knuckle covers, etc... or create a whole new race, and start the arm from scratch
Gashjackel
Yeah I've decided to stop making a tailor maidesque arm and instead decided to convert the entire thing. HOWEVER now I do not know what textures are missing as it relies on some Fallout 3 textures.Any ideas how to get around this?
syphek
aside from making them yourself? not really sure. i have good ideas, but i don't actually know much about making this stuff, i just know enough to know if my ideas will work, not how

Gashjackel
Well I've come up with a partial solution. Just unpack most of the BSA. My guess it's somewhere in items or clutter. You know somwhere in that field. Maybe creatures too. Need Liberty Primes stuff for the arm.

Gashjackel
http://www.newvegasnexus.com/imageshare/image.php?id=3259 here's how the vault suit looks so far. It's the only one I'll be porting. I've put a load of satchels and tailor maid stuff on top of it to make it look cooler. But you can see the arm and eye and such.
