way to detect when a reputation can be seen in the pipboy

is there a way to detect when a reputation becomes avalible in the pip-boy?

just asking because im making a mod that changes the player's starting reputation with certain factions, but i dont want to change the player's reputation before they get it on their pip-boy because it doesnt make sense for them to have that reputation when they havnt met that faction yet
