Unable to leave Helgen after installing Requiem.

*RESOLVED*

 

I recently downloaded Requiem to add to my other mods. I was able to get it properly installed, started up, and I can go through the Helgen introduction without a hitch. However, when I try to leave the caves under Helgen to the rest of Skyrim, I'm greeted by an infinite loading screen. I've let that loading screen simmer for over 10 minutes to no avail and I've tried using the "coc" teleport command but the same problem occurs. It's possible that Requiem isn't causing the problem but this has never happened before I installed it

 

I'm really looking forward to playing Skyrim with this mod so any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated. P.S. This is my first time on the forums

Also, when I open task manager, it says that Skyrim is not responding but I am still able to see the smoke moving and I can still turn the items in the loading screen.

I still don't know what the problem was but making a new character fixed it.

You should still get the mod 'Safetyloader' It stopped that smoke loading lock up. If you have the RAM in your PC for it.

this too, I hate that wagon ride, so this is a much better Start if you ask me.
