Abramul
When I scratched one of my BF2 CDs, I took it to Wal-Mart, and got a new copy, even though I hadn't bought it there. You might try that.

Abramul
You might get in touch with Bethesda's customer support. I think this is the right page, but I'm not sure...Your problem would fall under Customer Service, I think. Given your previous post, I think it may be best if I type the text for you. In the Subject field:TES4: Oblivion--How do I get a replacement for a damaged DVD?In the message field:indent: 1 tab Not sure what salutation to use,My Oblivion DVD was damaged by [method of damage]. This was sufficient to prevent it from working, and I would like to ask how I should go about replacing it, and how much it would cost to do so.I am in England, so, if it is possible to replace it by taking it to a store, it would need to be one that has a presence here. Indent: ? Not sure what closing, if any, should be usedIndent: ? Real-life name Someone with more knowledge of letter-writing and customer support should look this over before you use it. EDIT: Gah, not only does it not accept tabs (that's normal), but it doesn't let you use spaces for indentation!

You might try that. American Customer Care puts the UK C.C. to shame. unfotunately ours still live in the dark ages. I know how you feel, unfortunately there is nothing you can do except get a new dvd and keep it mint for the future.

Abramul
Yes, in all probability, it is because of that. Whether it's intentional or not, I can't say. Does the no-DVD patch modify the .exe?
