What im trying to do is change the hair from a character in a mod with a hair type from another mod. Is there anyway to access that hair model while having the mod with that character open or what would i need to do? Any help is appreciated still new to the geck. JohannesGunn Posted November 29, 2010 Share Posted November 29, 2010 (edited) What you need to do is check both mods in the geck, but make NEITHER active. Save, and make a new plugin which will reference both mods, and have it load after the other two. Make your changes to the new plugin, and you should be good. Quetzlsacatanango Posted November 29, 2010 Share Posted November 29, 2010 That won't work unless the 2 files are masters (esm).The best way is to create a new hair in your plugin, and point it to the model and texture you want. That way you're not dependent on other plugins. Remember that if you modify a vanilla race this way (or any way, really), it will overwrite all other mods earlier in the load order that also modify that vanilla race.
