Long War crash on June 26 @ 11:00 PM

Hello guys,

I've recently purchased XCOM EU, EW, Slingshot and Elite Soldier Pack in one neat package on Steam Sale. I've immediately proceeded to modding it with Long War (Long War 3 Beta 15-88-3-0b15).

Everything was working fine (small freezes here and there during Enemy's Turn, but nothing I couldn't handle with a save reload) until I've reached June 26th, 11:00 PM. At exactly this time the game crashes and exits to Windows. Next the Steam tries to restart the game but I receive a notification that Steam Servers are currently busy. So additionally I have to restart the Steam before I can restart the game.

I've tried loading multiple saves during the tactical phase (I even waited without speeding up the time) and a combat phase prior to 26th of June, but I always get the same result.

Has anyone had a similar problem?

Is there anything scripted in Long War for June 26th, 11:00 PM?

I've noticed there is a newer version of Long War (Long War 3 Beta 15b-88-3-0b15b). Will I lose my saves if I install it?

Any suggestions? ;)

Same Issue except mine is the 17th of November.

I got out of mission and picked a new research and started advancing the time to research and xcom crashed. I restarted it and then it crashed again. Tried two more times just to be 100%. I was looking at my queue and I noticed that I had a bunch of repair projects about to finish. So I decided to load an earlier save before I was repairing stuff. Sure enough, it worked.

I was repairing a LOT of equipment. Maybe just an overload of stuff all on one day? I would like to know if updating the mod would make me lose my saves. I wouldn't think that it would considering they are kept in different places but I'd rather be sure first.

Edit: It's the repair bay. Anyone have any idea how to fix it?

Long War bug reports should be posted in the appropriate Beta Feedback thread in the "XCOM File Discussions" section of the forum for a quick response. (The LW Team has stated they check here much less often than there.) You may also find that the answer is already known and posted in that thread.

Be sure to read the document included with the LW download on reporting bugs. They need all the information requested there to be able to help.

The first recommended fix is always to upgrade to the latest version. Be sure to check the release notes for the effect upon a saved game.
