Fallout 3 stops at start!

Heyho,

I just started playing Fallout 3 after some installing issues and DVD reading problems.

But now another problem just followed.

When i start the game, it takes a while, then i can choose my gender. After that, my dad says: "Oh we got a son, a beautiful son", the doctor stands up, and then the game just wont go on.

I can cry as the baby, i can open the menu, but it wont go further.

Then i asked my friend to give me a savegame just after the birth. Now im a child, can walk around, take my teddy and stuff.

The task is to walk to my father and press "E". But when i just do that, the same problem occurs. I can talk some kind of "dadada" open menu, look around. the natural movement of my dad and me is there, but it doesnt go on.

Does anyone have a solution for me?

I tried to reinstall, but it didnt change anything.

My System:

Machine name: PSYKOMAN-PC

Operating System: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit (6.1, Build 7600) (7600.win7_gdr.100226-1909)

Language: German (Regional Setting: German)

System Manufacturer: Alienware

System Model: M17x

BIOS: Ver A03 1.00PARTTBLZ

Processor: Intel® Core™2 Quad CPU Q9000 @ 2.00GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.0GHz

Memory: 4096MB RAM

Available OS Memory: 4094MB RAM

Page File: 2693MB used, 5493MB available

Windows Dir: C:\Windows

DirectX Version: DirectX 11

DX Setup Parameters: Not found

User DPI Setting: 120 DPI (125 percent)

System DPI Setting: 120 DPI (125 percent)

DWM DPI Scaling: Disabled

DxDiag Version: 6.01.7600.16385 64bit Unicode

... And a Radeon Mobility HD 4870 1024MB Ram

And there are some things I think I found out...

First: The fact that i installed the game via WLAN with the DVD device of the other PC, could there be some kind of random package loss that cause a defect in the files?

Second: The fact that the game just stops, i think it could be a kind of script defect and is maybe related to the package loss problem cause of the network-installation?

Thx for reading, hope somebody have any solution or even the same problem.

PS: I just googled myself to death for about 1 week.

This is very common problem and you're definitely not the first nor the last one who have it.

The solutions may differ for each user but if you were googling for week let's hope you tried:

- upgrading your graphic drivers

- editing the "fallout3.ini" file with the ''UseThreadedAI=1 + iNumHWThreads=2' feature

- enabling the Large Address Aware Enabler that can be found here on Nexus
