Recently installed wrye bash and python 3 and i'm unable to run bash. Running on windows vista home premium.

Used 275 self installer, updated to 287 then to 290. from what i've read in other posts i should be able to run from the short cut created by python during install or a secondary shortcut for bash launcher. any ideas?

Python doesn't create a shortcut for Wrye Bash. Python and Wrye Bash are totally different "things". Although Wrye Bash does need Python libraries, special ones, to function.

You just state you're "unable to run bash". What exactly does that mean? It crashes? Doesn't even start? Starts but has an error in the command prompt? Details, what are they?

I suggest you start by reading the documentation included in the Wrye Bash archive first, namely the installation section of the ReadMe. This can be found in the Mopy folder. You need to launch Wrye Bash from the Wrye Bash Launcher.pyw. This can also be found in the Mopy folder. You can create a shortcut of that and send to desktop.

Check out the Wrye Bash Pictorial Guide for Newbies. There are heaps of information available on Wrye Bash and how to properly install it and get it up and running. You just need to look for it. Here on TESNexus, just in the past few weeks, similar questions have been asked and answered multiple times, look at some other Wrye Bash threads. You can also check the Official Wrye Bash thread at the BethSoft Forums. Tomlong's site is also and excellent resource for just about everything.
