Malchik
Tiemmo is not used to crowds, he feels a bit closed in and trapped. Making an effort to calm himself he says "My name is Tiemmo. I came to the camp to find food and I saw trouble and death and strangeness. I don't understand it and I'm not sure I want to be part of it but the one who died was kind to me and I would avenge her death. I can bring a few skills, speed and accuracy with the bow and I'm usually good at getting hold anything not nailed down." He gulps and sits abruptly not at all sure if he has done the right thing. Guest
Orion gives Elsie a slow wink and smile then sits down. He begins to look over the group of people who have congregate in the room and casually listen to them talk.
loveme4whoiam
Erunánion listens attentively to Tiemmo, who seems to be quite ill at ease with the surroundings and company. In an effort to settle him in some way, he says, "Your experience is not unique Tiemmo; i myself have seen many strange things recently that i have no knowledge of, not least what we have all just witnessed." He pauses for a moment, then lokos at Linden and Alenee. "although, now that i think about it, i do not recall ever actually introducing myself to you two properly, and i know little about you. Perhaps this is the time to remedy that." "My name, as you know, is Erunánion. I came to meet these young women after accepting a job guarding a dig site; the same job they took on. Before that i spent many years out in the wilds, learning the nature of the world. For my part in this company, i have some skill with both blade and bow-" he nods at the bow which hangs over his shoulder, a well-made tool of war crafted from fine wood "and i shall glady aid any of you who requires it, for although we have not long known each other i feel instinctively trust you all." In saying this he nods to his two companions, whom he would now rather call friends. He glances at Tiemmo, to see if in revealing his past he has made him feel better. OOC: Sorry for the speel but i thought it would be nice to introduce ourselves to each other, since i've tended to ignore the posts that have no relevance to me up to now  /OOC
Melisande
Portia stands and looks at the group. "I too was not part of the main group. My name is Portia, and I was also looking to be hired on for the job that this group was doing. I do not know much of them, except that they have been through a fight. I am good with the sword, though I am trying to use it less and talk more. I kind of got in trouble the opther way before." She looks at the others. "I do not really know why I am here, but the figure mentioned as many names as there were of us, so whatever was behind that obviously believes that I should be." After that, she sits down again, awainting the next to speak.
Emry
Linden goes and sits down heavily the corner table and invites the others to do so also. "Does anyone have any idea about what the white lady was talking about in the vision we all saw a short while ago?" she asks quietly. "It seems like we have been drawn together to serve a greater purpose. The question is now 1) what is that purpose, and 2) who or what are those persons she named? 'The Balancer', 'The Apprentice' and "The Mountain's Daughter sound more like titles than names. I have to admit, it has me baffled." She awaits the input from the rest of the party. wesaynothin
Helstar sits down. "Well, Daughter of the Mountain sounds like a Dwarf. So it's probably Krixox. The Balancer might be one of your party, as well as the other names. I have a friend at the Library in Skift... maybe we could look this stuff up there?" loveme4whoiam
Erunánion is intrigued by Helstar's idea. "How far away is Skift? I do not have much knowledge of the landscape of this area." He thinks for a moment. "I think that i could be the Father's Son, since my father is a heavy influence in my life, assuming those names relate to our lifes and characters. As for my opinion, i think we should go to this library." [OOC: Where has everyone been?/OOC]
Malchik
Tiemmo looks doubtful. "If it is close perhaps. But we should not go too far while there are such unexplained mysteries and dangers here. I had a feeling that there was a sense of impending distaster. I don't like to ignore these feelings. They are often proved right." OOC> sparse posting in all RPG's at the moment. Emry
Linden looks over to Helstar "Wouldn't it be more convenient to go to the Library and Archives here in Toof City rather than making the journey all the way to Skift? The selection is extensive and much, much closer. " "I also agree with... your name's Tiemmo, right? (nodding in acknowledgement) We should stay around here. I believe that we have stumbled onto a mystery. Someone or something was trying to open the tomb we discovered and maybe even raise Astanth from the grave. We make have thwarted their immediate plans by destroying Astanth, but whomever masterminded this is still out there."
wesaynothin
"Well, staying here would be much more convenient. But does anyone here know what to look for? I'm not sure about the Religious/Political status here, but some religions don't like books about other religions in the open." Helstar says, leaning back in his chair.
