Kethruch
June 05, 1048 1103 "I'm not sure of that anymore, but I would suggest going to Eriollis' shop two streets down. He's known around here and he always gives us a fair price for the items we bring him, that's why we use him. If he has the item, I'm sure he'd sell it to you. For the sake of your friend, I hope that Eriollis has it, otherwise it could be just about anywhere. If there's anything else I can help you with, especially if you want to know about the love of Corithalion and how he may touch your life, please feel free to ask. Unfortunately, as you can see, we are all a little busy around here at the moment, and I have duties I must attend to." He waits a moment with a smile on his face, then bows to Linden, Orion, Helstar, and Portia and turns to do his business in the temple. Eventually, one of the people in the lower room notice Tiemmo. "Excuse me, sir. Is there something I can help you with? I am sorry but we are not yet set up for worship services, perhaps if you come back in a couple of days, we can cleanse your soul and bring you the peace of Corithalion. Until then, I am sorry, but you'll have to remain upstairs." He gently takes Tiemmo's elbow and begins to escort him back up the stairs.
Melisande
"Thank you brother Paul." Portia says, curtsying slightly. "As soon as we have gathered our companions, we will leave you. The experts will be back tomorrow you say? i hope you will not mind if we make another visit to you then." "Tiemmo! Orion! Linden! Krixox! Helstar!" she calls out. "It is time we left the monks(?) to get thier work done." With that she turns and leaves the tower.
Guest
Orion walks over to Portia, "Excuse me, but are the items we are looking for in this particular church?" Orion says softly. "I was not part of the original conversation with the inn keeper. It may be a good idea to check out the other church."
Melisande
"I beleive the Brother, and since it is close, whould like to check out this 'Eriollis' ans see what he has. If we go off, we're likely to forget or have to double track anyway. (OOC - how far are we from the castle?). "I would like to track down the stuff as we come across a clue, rather than confusing ourselves by geting info on too many things at once." She says very matter of factly. She looks like she wants to take charge and just go. Her body language shows that she would like someone else to support her posistion.
wesaynothin
Helstar nods in agreement with Portia. "Yeah, we should check this merchant. It shouldn't take that long, unless he has sold it." Helstar says, looking around at the group.
Kethruch
June 05, 1048 1104 The castle is about a half-hour's walk away, and Eriollis' shop is at a ninety degree angle to where you are going, but not completely out of the way. The monk escorting Tiemmo brings him back to the party, and they seem to pay no more attention to you as they continue to move the stuff around. wesaynothin
OOC: I'll be off again. For longer this time though, two weeks. Once again, If someone could direct Helstar out of harms way, I would be very grateful.
Emry
Linden nods in support of Portia's idea. "I agree. We are now dabbling in things we do not fully understand and I'm sure it includes influential political circles - the Corinthalions and Archangelicans at the least and possibly the Crown. We could get in serious trouble... or worse if we step on the wrong toes. Caution would be prudent." Looking over to Portia, "Shall we go visit the good shopkeeper?" Melisande
"While we are going there, what are we going to do if the item isn't there? If he's sold it we can track it down, but I think we need to figure out what we're going to do if he never had it. Do you think the priests would have lied to us and kept it?" Portia says all of this as she walks toward the direction of the shop, and is careful taht she is well out of ewarshot when she mentions the part about the priests. Kethruch
June 05, 1048 1115 It is a fairly short walk to Eriollis' shop. As you find it, you see that it is almost impossible to miss. A hanging in bright Red and Gold of a large, ornate letter 'E' hangs from a rod over the door, and a similar pattern is displayed in a large, stained-glass window. Inside, you find a large shop with just about anything you can imagine displayed neatly and orderly on large tables and in several display cases. There is even a section for weapons in the back, and a couple of helms sit shiny and polished on a tables as well. As you come in, a bell tinkles, and there is a movent in the back of the shop. A man in his mid thirties comes out from behind some rolled tapestries, and comes to the front of the store, a huge grin on his face. "Welcome to my shop!" He exclaims, extending his hand and shaking the males' hands vigorously while taking the females' and gently kissing theirs, all with a flourish of his fine red and gold dagged garments. "As you can see, we have a little of everything. I hope you can find something you like. Or perhaps you are here to sell a prized posession, we offer the best of terms. I am the proprietor - Eriollis of Betsinia. Please, feel free to ask any questions that you might have."
