TomKR
Ok first off let me say that I really don't know much about modding so if I end up sounding stupid then please go easy on me. Ok. Well one thing that really bothered me about Fallout 3 and New Vegas (oh and the Elder Scrolls games for that matter) is the lack of animation when running diagonally in 3rd person view (holding W and D). The characters legs moves just as he would when running straight forward. It seems like a really easy problem to fix, yet it still persists in New Vegas. Is there a valid reason why it is that way? Am I the only one bothered by this? Would it be possible for a modder to fix this? Just have the characters waist shift so that it looks more natural or something? I hope you understand what I am trying to explain here. Thanks TomKR
scruples
Yeah this has bothered me to since Oblivion, we would need a dev to help with it since there is nothing to trigger the animation. Scripting the animation to trigger when the W+D or W+A buttons are pressed while still respecting things like falling animations/death/stagger orshooting animations, very very very hard. Creating the animation itself is trivial in comparison.
