TES5Merged Patch question

I've just started using a MergedPatch along side my bashed patch as gamerpoet, sharlikran and T3nd0 recommend but I get some errors during it's creation and basically I have no idea what they mean or if they can be ignored or not. This is the end of the info window in xEdit:

[00:00] Checking for Errors in [F7] TES5Merged.esp
[00:00] All Done!

Checking for errors comes up with nothing though so I'd guess that means it's ok?

Oh, so if there's something wrong with the merged patch I will CTD or something? I'm not 100% sure how the merged patch works tbh, I just know (or at least this is how I took it) it tries to fix conflicts and makes the game more stable as a result?

Also, I know it's a bit off topic but seeing as I have all these patches (ASIS, Perma, AV, DSR, Bashed Patch, MergedPatch) it's taking ages to get things going, what's the best way to test things? I've tested my setup without any perma stuff and without the skyprocs and with but only for about 10-15 mins. So what's the best way to then test these patches? Just the merged and bashed, then add perma and related mods then the rest? Basically wondering if there is like a tried and tested or commonly used method kind of thing for this. Same with ENBs, as some require different esp files (lighting, weather, original stuff) will I have to make a new game and redo every patch again or will most work well enough with ELFX and just stick to ones using vanilla weathers or grab a weather mod and stick to enbs that use that?

Sorry, I know some of that sounds pretty noobish but I just want to make sure I have this last bit down so I'm not wasting hours unneccissarily.

Ok, so I tried with all my mods 'cept skyproc stuff and it loaded ok. Tried with my skyproc patches and it wont get past the dragon logo... is it the MergedPatch do u reckon or have I just overloaded skyrim? The skyrim process is using 30-40% of my CPU while it's sat there on that logot though so it's not crashed and I have the memmory tweaks.

EDIT: Hmmm... Getting all these errors. Think I'll try making a basic setup to test this stuff out and sw what's what:

Sorry to bump again but I can't for the life of me get this merged patch to create without errors. Also all the Perkus esps and it's required mods esps are spewing out tons of errors in TES5Edit, not sure if that's normal but it's making it impossible for me to tell what is causing the issue in the patch. Searching for the ID that comes before the error comes up with nothing. Anyone know what I should do here? I followed Mators video on fixing errors and got rid of some in the Death alternative addon for Live another life which I thought was to blame but that hasn't helped either. Also, I can't find anything more detailed/in depth about fixing errors in TES5Edit so I'm really stuck.
