someguynamedjoe
SPOILER WARNING! DO NOT READ THIS IF YOU HAVEN'T BEATEN THE GAME YET! So you sided with Yes Man. You decide to take power for yourself by killing Mr. House, using the Platinum Chip, and dominating the other tribes. You take over the Lucky 38, Yes Man kisses your ass, and... nothing. Yes Man ominously says he's "going to be more assertive," and none of the Securitrons take orders from you. After all the work you do becoming the new Mr. House, so to speak... you undoubtedly feel cheated. In my opinion, the greatest mod someone could make for New Vegas would be to truly feel like you conquered New Vegas. Re-opening the Lucky 38 would be a start, but there really should be a worthwhile reward for using Yes Man to conquer New the Mojave Wasteland, using the Platinum Chip for your own personal use, and turning the Securitrons into your own personal army. I wanted to see an army of Securitrons storm in to butcher the NCR and Caesar's Legion, and then claim the Hoover Dam for yourself. I wanted to see the Omertas, the Chairmen, and the White Glove Society kiss my ass for making them into MY employees. I wanted to see the option to cleanse Freeside of the thugs and drug dealers, and help rebuild New Vegas to it's pre-war glory. But I didn't. Instead, I got shortchanged, barely able to keep the presidential sweet, with Yes Man hinting at betraying me. In the spirit of the Mothership Zeta crew mod, I'd like to help any modder team willing to throw together a post-Wild Card quest line to be proud of. Anyone up for it? I felt the exact same way when I played through the first time. A mod that allows you to really rule...that would be perfect.
