SGTbayk47
Hey all, I''m currently trying to give dialogue to a creature, a protectron to be specific. I have made a voicetype and dialogue topics, aswell as set them up in a quest and set it so the robot will say them. However, when I look at the protection ingame, and try to activate, nothing happens. It just says 'Protectron' near my crosshair, and not 'Talk Protectron'. If anyone knows what I've done wrong, it'd be greatly appreciated. Thanks, bayk :D
Fallout2AM
did you flag "Allow PC Dialogue" in the creature's properties?
SGTbayk47
I just tried it, and unfortunately it didn't seem to work. :(
Fallout2AM
Some random things I could think about - You lack some Greetings topic- The topic conditions are not satisfied- The quest conditions are not satisfied- you duplicated an existing Protectron with a script attached, with an OnActivate block, even if you later removed the script on the dropdown menu Edited March 24, 2015 by Fallout2AM
SGTbayk47
Well, I've double checked everything you have suggested, and I am pretty sure it's none of those causing the problem. I've even compared my protectron with a working protectron from the base game (I used Vendortron and Fisto for comparison) and everything is the same, except for certain flags such as invulnerability or a quest item (Which I also know aren't the cause of the problem).
