cannot sneak with radio enabled

a mod that makes sneaking around with the radio on impractical, like with a sneak skill reduction or making it much more likely you will get caught. because it always struck me as very strange how i can play the radio out loud and nobody can hear it except me

I'm not sure we have any function to determine if the player's radio is on or off. I'll PM Luthienanarion, and ask (he's done a lot of radio plugins for NVSE).

Another mod author (tortured Tomato, here's his mod) had suggested running the pipboy radio exclusively through hotkeys (as opposed to the radio tab), which would allow us to know when the radio was active. Because currently we don't have any other solution to determine when it's on. This may change if Lutana is able to develop a plugin, but that is asking a lot as he's already pretty busy.

In a Universe with advanced technology like Fallout you would imagine that the Pipboy radio could be played through a sub-dermal implant in the ear so only the player can hear it. Well that's just my 2 cents.

True. I was thinking a bit about teh opposite end of the scale (very primitive) and I think it might be cool to have a raider with a radio strapped to his hip, or raider chick holding a radiation king radio up, like a boombox. Seems like raiders would always be playing some crazy loud tunes.
