the only process left is starting at the point of this saved game while having all plugins disabled and then Enable the files or groups as dependencies require "1 at a time" until such point the error shows it's self again.

when you do, post whats loaded at that point here so I can install those and re-verify if I can witness the stuttering issue....be it I may never experience it myself due to hardware differences, there is a chance that a mod is the cause of it.

some times things work them selves out quickly, some times it's a really hard thing to pin point.

It's all I can offer here.

Let ask this, Why can't you simply play through that spot without the head phones?

we know where and what is the cause...there does not seem to be at this point.....so far any cure to your issue except maybe disabling the very thing that set this in motion from the beginning.

The obvious thing would be to try that with an earlier saved game prior to starting that quest and just see what happens.

Done without mod's and NO headphones.

THE Dx log you posted shows that the PC own hardware drivers installed are for strictly 64bit function, your running a 32bit game that is foreign to it.

the only other tricks I know of are tricky...you said you have NV and skyrim installed ? that means you have steams assets also available too.

Each game has assety manament built into the engine....what that means is this, the engine will use what ever is sitting in the line of fire with in it's folders....so..you can try tricks, copy other game files assets, "Dll files" only listed as required by those engines for that system as installed.

How to verify exactly which files required for them to operate this game on that equipment is using a tool known as cff explorer on the executable of the working engines.

that is your only option as a software work around.

the bad option and a very difficult one is to install a 32 OS for that PC that is compatible with all 32bit app's.

Bottom line is you need a 32bit driver to run the games software with out flaws.

The arguments seen to date is this is non sense....you know what ,it's not 64bit systems have both software's involved but only one take precedence on root and that my friend rules the party.

to understand this....linux requires Wine to run software meant for windows period.....there is no excuse not to understand this.

Night and day...peanut butter and jelly....these are two different animals and 64bit was Just being invented at the time this game came into being.

you need 32bit emulation in the correct formats to runt the games that require it.

the dx log shows "ZERO"...what it shows is installed 64bit data to run that hardware only on a 64bit system.

I am searching the steam forums for the exact data you need but am finding squat for that PC.

Hardware sites...places that show compatibility engines to see if that system meets the requirements...so far it does not but I believe it should.

the goty Ed. was only a few dollars so it's no real loss...to me it's nothing, your happiness is every thing..but I can do only so much here.

If the OS was 32bit ? then we could do something fast...but it's not.

here is a site that has engine testing app's on it you can try, or read about compatibility problems others have had.

http://www.game-debate.com/

here is a direct starting point you can try your self...make sure your logged in so the system gets scanned properly.

getting your machine to run an old game it should run by all means is the important thing....if other games from the same company runs, and they are later versions "updates", this old game should run.

Fallout 3 was shipped with bad Software.....at the time it was not...but we ,as consumers are subjected to "time advances" Time waits for no one.

The fight...you are up against is the software industry...things change rapidly...too fast.

some old games will not run on newer operating systems period and there is no workaround for them because the industry has made sure "legacy" programs become "obsolete"

I put to this thought....how many OS's have there been to date from Microsoft?

what operating system programs are still compatible now that remain?

when the new OS windows 10 comes to full Bloom, it's been stated that it will be indeed proprietary in nature and specif hardware will be slated for it's use. It will not be on OS fit's all hardware.

things are getting tight, tight controls are being put into place, this means a lot of known thing today that work...will no longer work..tomorrow.

Updates to all thing Eliminate competitions attempts at recompiling a one size fit's all theme.

What bothers me is the corperation that is supposed to represent this game is not supporting it at this late date...where it should be doing so.

Understand, if you can purchase the product from them today, they should be standing behind that product 100%...but that seems to not the case.

It's not just games, it's all hardware ,even printers drivers.

It's a nasty world we live in ,and these things are real------if this was not so, you would not be here conversing with me ,the game would load and run just fine.

here's a kick in the head for ya...an older game, much older than current subject....Time shift...it loads, it runs on all systems tested to date, including windows 2k ,windows 10 both versions, it has securRom . a nasty DRM that Does in fact work correctly and is currently installed on this hard drive, this old game does not crash ,have bugs in it and is very much fun !

it's is not moddable, but it beats putting too much time into fixing it...and it blows away newer games DRM's

Just an example of how things have changed. When the new systems come on line...wait for 3 months before buying it, wait for the reviews and see if that will fit your budgie because the fact is, your PC won't be able to run that system, not that hardware any way.

steams version still requires it's root software support , I just tried to grab the support software and found out it is no longer available...so I have to figure out what you currently have / own in order to create a work around to replace required files this old buggy game needs for that hardware, and get you up and running.

your Enjoyment is playing the game not fixing...if that is correct of me assuming this?

Mine if helping other do the impossible ,against all odd's and that challenge is greater than playing the game, because that challenge is there due to lap's in judgment from the companies and a deliberate ignorance of the facts...they don't care any more.

next year...where will you be?

what PC will you own?

what games will run on it?

what software will get the chop's ?

who is going to be in your corner ?

--------------------------------------------

it's a lot to thinks about. my game is this, helping you...can I accomplish the task? win this game?

you get it now? that's my goal. To win the game, this nasty very difficult and challenging game..we live in and share.

oh boy, another wall of text...but, it should point you in the correct direction.

there are 15 of us here.....left.

we will do what's required and no more.

so, you installed all the known tricks ,software codecs, and tweaks and things to no avail and still suffer from this stuttering bug in a scene, a scripted scene that plays not only a set of screens, a video and effects *.nif files...interlinked to sound files.

there could be a memory issue going on here and I missed it.

the sound catch...so..I can then ask you if you have noticed any off synced activity up to this point in the play through ?

not like the stuttering issue but out of sync a delay in sound effects ?

start menu right click CMD and run it as admin....it's a dos box

in the window type " set " with out the quotes...screen shot the results of that window and show me what it says.

exit the window and post the link here.

reduce volume controls to half way on all settings including the headphones..

My guess is, those new head phones are drawing more power than the PC can provide.

Over taxing the system...we know it's a hardware issue now..and I just replicated this bug here.

I went to the store and bought them to test...My system too can not handle the draw...AKA sounds like stuttering

and it is unbearable, I reduced in game sound levels to half way, and had to also reduce the system levels too when that device was plugged in.

test this please.

ive been listening to my radio once the problem starts, and ive noticed that the music is Jumping forwards and backwards within 2-ish seconds at intervals of 4-5 seconds. I can hear the lyrics and music properly, but the songs are skipping in that way.
