Purr4me
Put the current set of headphones Jack into the speak Hole, should be lime green...forget if it works ...the sound that is, but make sure the sound / volume is turn down to 1/4 mark before plugging it in there.test the game let me know what takes place. If in the US ,PM me with your address, I'll send you speakers if needed, or have a set shipped to you.If out of the country ,I am afraid your on your own. Cheap PC speaker at the fair cost less than a gallon of gasoline for me, it's not a problem.
Zaelesh
Alright. i launched the game at a very low volume, the problem is still there. I'll see if i can find my old headset, should still be around here. im a little cautious of giving our my address. no offence Edited April 11, 2015 by Zaelesh
Purr4me
none taken, just trying to solve your bug .as you wish.asking this question ,can you record the sound bug off system? any manner that gives a clear indication of that "stutter"? I wonder if it is a stutter or Overload ? ever turn up a set of speakers to just hear them crap out, spit sputter and when lowering the volume the bug dissipates? Built in sound chips are tiny things on the mother boards. How old is that board? Also, the sound files them selves..again can be corrupted, so. if there is a specific sound? that might be it, but upload a recording if you can.use a smart phone to record it or something if possible. Zaelesh
Found my other headset and gave it a try, problem still persists as usual. my motherboard is about 6 years old. I have indeed heard that ugly noise after turning my speakers to max volume, its certainly nothing like that. I'll try to get a recording of what im experiencing later. The bug persists across all songs and stations, even my modded ones. ive even tried reinstalling my modded stations just incase. could corruption still be a possibility? Purr4me
The saved game you sent to me works here with out any flaws, so it points to your end ,either its a hardware flaw or a software issue. It can be the programing...If all the bases and coverage have been tried, listed throughout the nexus posts? It points to a hard ware flaw. Are you sure all the ini files are correct? is xlive "fake *.dll installed and working? These things...questions will be asked over and over...so because of the depth you have shown to have gone through, it's only logical it's a hardware bug. But !, if this bug is NOT there with other games? then it points to your software for this particular game.what is needed is a confirmation in another game only with the few selected sound files in question inserted into those games and tested. Like bee's a cross pollination to provide some sort of confirmation it's that games data and not the hard ware.My bag of trick is getting thin here.Let's see here.saved game works on another players default settings and install ,totally different machine, so that Eliminates the games engine. You own zero "hardware speakers and are using strictly headphones, which is a known issue with some players and machines. #2 is borderline and does not cover all the bases, this points to hardware through deductions given information provided so far. File corrupted is a real possibility, the drive the data is stored on could be failing, there is not much left here. The compression technology currently install, sound codec's Drect-x install, visual-basic, the systems OS files are in question. The list has grown short here. Purr4me
But how ever, for a satisfaction and peace of mind, I would like you to try one thing and report on it's results for me if you will? I will provide a clean link to a site, one of my favorite places to hang, it is exceptionally one that may appeal to you in this instance as a valid test. at the top and dead center of this page, there is a sound recorder /player there, click the play button. It will direct you to the artists songs and start playing. listen to the whole track, if you hear "ant stuttering "? report this. this does require high speed, you can not use a VPN connection here. If there is a network problem ,and you have the game paused but are connected to steam while performing these instructions? then I know where else to look or investigate.http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/roseroyce/wishingonastar.htmlthis is the last post for this issue unless we find out what's wrong. Purr4me
Ok, so...I now need to see physically where the game is installed at and how, I need to know how much drive space is available.I need to know the monitor brand and spec's as well as the PC's spec's OS. last ,the game is Steam..? correct? I need to know as much information you can possible provide me with. But most of all I do need to see two shots, one showing the root folder where the executable is located full screen exposing all files sitting there. One shot showing the data folder same as above ,upload the shots and link them in.I have a feeling where you installed the games at is the bug.--------------------EDIT: Issue closed. kitty Edited April 14, 2015 by Purr4me
Morgainum
I have the same issue triggered by scripted events in the same quest. For me it happens when the door closes behind Colonel Autumn in the control room of Jefferson Memorial. I can confirm that this happens regardless of whether or not headphones are used. I've tried installing the MADfilter codec, I've disabled my mods, I've reinstalled the game. I've even tried not having the radio on during the cutscene, but it's still bugged out. SPECS:OS: Windows 8.1GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K CPU @ 4GHzRAM: 8GB I'm using a Westinghouse TV to display, but the sound is bugged out both on the TV and through my Skullcandy Aviator headphones. I imagine from the way this forum ended that you weren't able to find a solution to the problem? I'll post to a couple other forums, and if anything helpful comes up, I'll let you know. I'll post to a couple other forums, and if anything helpful comes up, I'll let you know.the solution was a new game...Gifted Via steam, The CD was scratched so the data was corrupted...data / files sitting there on the hard drive but were Empty/devoid of any data to process + other things as well. But I'm not buying every one a new game...check your data over carefully, make sure you have the correct codecs installed, some PC's do not get the correct Codecs installed by default By windows installs because the hard ware does not qualify for them, you need to force the software to install....you bug is the PC, or the games software is "incomplete" or other.Kitty Black
