Ravenlash Posted March 25, 2015 Share Posted March 25, 2015 Hey guys, I was wondering and asked myself a "What if?" question - If a modder closes his Nexus Account does his mod become deleted? If so you will lose all download access to that mod. So I was thinking that maybe I should start Mod Banking, with requests from modders they can store their mod onto this bank. I can guarantee that I'll be staying on the nexus for quite a while so if a modder will close his/her nexus account or is going to delete his/her mod (as it has happened to a few of my favorite mods). Before hand he/she may store their mod on the bank and other players can access this bank and get the mod from it, along with the fact that if a modder wishes to return to work onto his/her mod but lost all his/her data (both on nexus and desktop) he/she may access the bank to get said mod. Let me know if you guys wish to add this so I may get to work and if there are any modders who wish to bank their mods now just in case something like this happens just inform me so I'll download said mod and upload it to the bank. ZeroKing Posted March 25, 2015 Share Posted March 25, 2015 Just a correction (to answer your first question): mods are only deleted (upon a mod author's closing of his account) when either a mod author takes them down themselves or requests that they be taken down. Thanks for pointing that out mate, maybe the mods that I was searching for were deleted on request before the modder closed his account. Or something else happened that shall remain unclear to me.
