MythWisper Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 I know its not really important...but the forum hyperlink on the main page of newvegasnexus is missing the .com part.
WastelandAssassin Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 are you referring to the top part of the NV nexus??because if you look at the same part in the FO3 nexus, the TES nexus, and the DA nexus, you will see that none has the .com written
MythWisper Posted November 30, 2010 Author Posted November 30, 2010 Yes the top part on the home page. i should of been more specific.
WastelandAssassin Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 have you looked at the other Nexus sites??because non of them have the .com in that partso it's not a typo, it is intentional (and looks much better this way, if i may say so)
MythWisper Posted November 30, 2010 Author Posted November 30, 2010 It links to a server not found page for me
WastelandAssassin Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 don't know what the problem isi always use Firefox, and it works greatand i even tried it again with IE, and it also works just fine though sometimes there are problems with the nexus (like SQL problems and such) so it may bring bizarre windows, but if you wait a while and try again, it should work just fine
Thandal Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 Yeah, works fine for me (IE8). Hovering my cursor over the text "The Nexus Forums" at the top of THIS page, for example, brings up "http://www.thenexusforums.com/" as the actual hyperlink, which is displayed in the bottom-left of the window. Haven't tried with FF or Chrome yet (although I could...) The specific text on-screen is totally irrelevant. Could say "Santa Claus", and still work correctly to take you to the "New Vegas Nexus" page. It just depends on the contents of the underlying html tag.
