WastelandAssassin
very simply put, you can't do it with the tool set what you are trying to do, is changing the model of the armor now, i have never read about modeling for Dragon Age, but if it is the same as modeling for Oblivion or the Fallout games (like the other nexus sites here) then if the project is complicated, you will need a 3D modeling programif the project is rather simple, you might be able to do this with just NifSkopebut again, i have never read anything about the models for DA, so i don't know if these are the programs to usedo some search on the internet, i'm sure it will be easy to find which program you need
Thandal
Modding for DA is not at all like modding for Oblivion or Falllout. For example; characters don't "wear" armour or clothing which is placed over their model and then conforms to it. A whole new "body" (elbows to knees) must be created to replace the previous one when the item is "equipped". As for the OP's request. I think this will do what's wanted: "The Winter Forge".

DarkeWolf
you're going to need a 3d modeling program like 3dsmax, max (free), or blender (also free) in order to change the models, and you are going to need the .msh plugin script for those programs (do a search, something like .msh plugin program-name in order for those programs to recognize the file format.as for how to actually work those programs, there are tons of tutorials all over the net, and a few posted in the articles section for dragon age, and a help section of the site, in the open forums. good luck :)

DarkeWolf
yeah, I hear that. Modeling can be some pretty deep stuff if you're really new to it. I wasnt able to ever really figure it out either. :(
