TheBlob2
is it possible to put an effect on ammo besides the 6 already in the game?
FiendishGhoul
If I'm understanding you correctly, yes. Is this a new ammo, or are you attempting to alter an effect on an existing ammo?

WhiskeyRiver2
Another effect like what, an incendiary round that lights the target/victim on fire? That's done via scripting, specifically the script attached to the .50 MG Incendiary round (just as an example).

WhiskeyRiver2
Lemme guess - cartoon physics, big-ass round blows the shooter across the room? If that's what you're going for, grab the Obnoxious Cicada mod and look at how he did it. IIRC it took some heavy scripting though, so it may be a bit of a pain in the ass to pull off. WhiskeyRiver2
Right, my mistake - had to uninstall that mod myself, since the script was always delayed by a good ten seconds (even if it was occasionally hilarious). So, what -exactly- are you trying to do, anyway?

So, what -exactly- are you trying to do, anyway? make it so some ammo types will increase or decrease the strength requirement of a weapon while equipped, based on how big the powder load is. like using .44 special in a .44 magnum revolver would decrease the strength requirement by 2, or something like that
WhiskeyRiver2
Hmm..... That's actually an interesting concept. I have absolutely no idea if it's possible or how it'd be done though.
