Oh My Papa Quest

I'ver sided with the NCR, and am working for Col. Moore on the Oh My Papa quest. I've turned Jack & Diane to the NCR side, I've also convinced Meliisa to side with the NCR, and I've embarressed Karl into nutting off in front of the Khans in the Great House, resulting in him getting himself gunned down like a dog by the Khans.

 

I'm stuck at getting Regis evidence of Caesars mistreatment of other tribes. I know I'm supposed to go to Cabbot Cove, meet the Ledion dude at the end of the pier and ride to the Fort and swipe a book off Caesar's table in his tent (all from a previous play through). I can't do that though, as in this play through I wiped out the Legion (including the pier dude) earlier in the game. Col. Moore wants me to whack Papa Khan, and I don't want to do that.

 

Is there any way to get from the NCR side of the Colorado R over to the Fort without taking the raft ride from cabbot Cove? I tried walking across Hoover Dam, and it's blocked about 2/3 of the way across (on top), and I tried going up through the cave in L. Mead but there doesn't seem to be an outlet onto the Fort side of the river. If I can get over to the Fort side (without the raft ride I"ve eliminated) I'll try Stealth Boying into the Fort to swipe the evidence for Regis. Also, how would I get back, if possible?

You still can go there even if the raft dude is dead. Go to the cove, and go to the raft and click on the raft. But hey it doesn't look like a boat so you might think it's part of the bridge.

If it's really not there, try using ''coc The Fort'' or ''tcl'' in the commands.

Bleep!! :wallbash: I was actually down there twice, on the raft. Didn't look at it once I was on though, and no dialog box came up needless to say. I'll do it again and follow your instructions (I'd have preferred sneaking across by some other means; if I remember rightly, there'll be Legion on the shore when me and the raft materialise there!); should be interesting.............I'll take lot's 'o bullets 'n nades! :devil: Your tip is much appreciated! :cool:
