Morroblivion Missing Textures

I have finally gotten around to installing the mod: "Morroblivion" you know, the one that "revamps" Morrowind? Yeah, when I go to play, (as in get on the boat in Anvil) The first thing I see is Jiub and a lot of purple textures. The wall and the roof are almost all purple, no dots or anything, just plain old, purple.

This is not on ALL of the textures, but on a lot of them such as the gate by the "Census" office, most of Dagon Fel and a lot of Vivec. I have played, and completed The Elder Scrolls: III Morrowind and I know that the purple stuff is not supposed to be there. I also have another problem. The map (the world map)

is high up away from all of the locations and all of the locations (on the map) are in the ocean. And, one more thing, There are not many map markers on my map as there are in the Morrowind game. I'm not sure if this is a beta version or anything but I would like it to work. This seems like an excellent mod.

Ps. If it helps, I installed it using an "OMOD" file. And yes, I do have Morrowind installed and working on my computer. (NOT THE EXPANSIONS).

EDIT: I CAN go outside and all around Morrowind, so it is not a problem of not being able to go places.

Yup, purple objects indicate missing textures, or messed up texture paths. Check the folders you downloaded, did they all go where they belong? Or were there any corrections necessary in terms of folder paths?

The thing is that the whole "Morroblivion" package is kind of illegal, since Bethesda doesn't hold all rights of Morrowind, so basically from their point of view, Morroblivion is an illegal rip. Meaning that tje mod was kind of abandoned in mid - production since it had to be pulled from the net because of the legal problems. :(

There is this mod:

Vampire Hunting - Order of the Virtuous Blood

One of the quests takes you to a village in Morrowind and there is a portal in the Cheydinhal Mage Guild that can take you to the Caldera area where the town and 7 nearby dungeons are recreated using legal Oblivion resources. It is not quite like Morrowind, but you might get a kick out of it.
