dikr
:(Sad to hear. I really like the fact that there are creatures in the gameworld that are able to one shot you if you aren't prepared / tough enough as the majority of the game's content isn't challenging enough by a long shot (a little more so than FO3 though). Right now I was just charged by a mature Deathclaw which I tried to sneak around. As it sprinted towards me I gave it three sniper rifle headshots in vats but when my AP was through, it still had a sliver of life left. When it was right on top of me I fired a manually aimed panic shot and killed it just before it would have hit and probably killed me (lvl 11, playing very hard / hardcore). Moments like that are what I love in a game :) (This is why I think World of Pain is such a great mod: adds more scary moments). I really don't want to be a demi-god amongst npc's. talranoth
First time poster First of all, thank you BlackCompany for the work you've put in - without modders many games would be so lacking. My first playthrough of NV was toooo easy on hard (not hardcore)On my second playthru (because despite everything i really liked NV) I made as many changes as i could think of to make the game harder, including adding about a dozen mods, and i'm really enjoying it. I do want to say that most games are released with bugs that get ironed out later - for me, just being buggy isn't a reason not to play something. (i'm not saying this is a good thing or even acceptable, just the reality of the industry. and YES there are plenty of exceptions, no need to post "oh yeah? XXXXXX game was perfect out of the box!!) i LOVED the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series tho it was buggy as hell. Besides that, i think it's great that so many modders work to smooth things out and add content. SO, thanks for all your hard work modders! Edited December 27, 2010 by talranoth
falloutperson416
Amen to that brother. It's refreshing to see somebody who doesn't like gamebryo. Anyway, I wish you well in your future gaming. I guess it's up to Bethesda to save Fallout now. It would be a shame to see such a popular game title go down the drain now. But, it is what it is. - FP416
