If youâve run around Solitude for a while playthrough and never had a crash, then Textures CERTAINLY are not the issue. ELFX also wonât cause a crash if youâve already been in that area with no problems before. And Birds of Skyrim is a s#*! mod that makes everyoneâs game crash, you shouldnât have that installed anyway. Last reason to ignore Skanners is because you shouldnât have to âdelete your data folderâ after a full playthrough. Thatâs retarded. Troubleshoot your mods. What mods affect that quest. General Tullius. NPCs, AI, Combat, Ulfric or his Right game man. Could be any of those. Make a new hard save before the problem occurred. Then one at a time, remove any mod that could be causing the issue. Do you have Resaver? Try that.Iâm having the same issue except mine CTDs when I kill Tullius. Iâm going to try letting Ulfric do it. Then Iâll run Resaver. Then Iâll start shutting down mods one at a time... I have 350 something. Iâll come back if I figure something out. I disabled anything that affected âdowned animationsâ and anything that affected dialogue or quests, including Smilidon Combat, TDF Prostitution, SL Defeat, Amorous Adventures and some others. I left Amazing Follower Tweaks enables though because I didnât want my followers losing their clothing sets. Mind you Iâm using Mod Organizer, so I can just enable and disable mods easily. I just have to rerun FNIS. And my bashed patch. However this time I didnât do that. I just made a copy of my profile and itâs saves, called it TEST, disabled any questionable mods, reran FNIS, loaded up the game, Tullius died with no CTD, I let the quest complete. I saved the game. Exited the game. Went back to my other profile. Copied the new Save into my original profile, and loaded that new Save with all the mods enabled again. No problems. Everything worked. Although I have to do All the Amorous Adventure Quests again but whatever. As long as my game works I donât mind the extra couple hours of work. Especially since Iâm doing a 100% completionist with Legacy of the Dragonborn and all itâs compatible mods. I was at about 90% so there was no way I was losing that save.
