RickAstley4
Hello people, I got like 1,5k gamehours on skyrim on my ps3 but everytime I launch it now on the PC I can't get over that feeling of "OH I KNOW ALREADY WHERE EVERYTHING IS". I already watched like 3hours various mod categories but can't find something that fits me. Can someone recommend me some really good badass mods? I really need them or my journey in skyrim will be very short :'(. Thanks so far ^^ Edited March 27, 2015 by RickAstley4
BlackRoseOfThorns
If you could post your pc specs it would be helpful. I wouldn't want to recommend mods that your machine would have problems running at stable fps / script latency. For now what I can recommend: Watch Gopher guides on youtube on how to install it all of basic mods:Mod OrganizerLOOTTES5Edit (clean your master files)WyreUSKP (and additional patches for DLC, if you have those)SKSESkyUI After that you can start modding. RaceMenu (better character customization and support for beauty mods)RaceMenu AlternativeXCE Live Another Life - Alternative Start Interesting NPCs (250+ Voiced NPCs with 50 quests)INIGO (Khajit follower with over 2.000 lines of voiced dialogue)Vilja (tons of voiced lines, bard follower)BFF Animal Companions Cutting Room Floor (restored content for vanilla skyrim) Falskaar (DLC size new land with quests)Wyrmstooth (DLC size adventure) Death Alternative - You Money or Your LifeDeath Alternative - Captured Convenient Horses (learn how to command your horse by waving hand or whisting, horse has cointainer bag for all your items, you can pick unique saddles in MCMenu)Convenient Horse Herding Jaxonz Positioner http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/2709314-good-house-decorating-mods/Ellianora house mods http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/users/3231858/?tb=mods&pUp=1 If your pc can handle some graphic mods (install in this order):NobleSkyrimHDTamriel Reloaded HD (no grass and trees .esp)Skysight - Simply Bigger Trees (this will make your Skyrim look like a real forest)Verdant Skyrim grass plugin (512 res optional texture)JK Skyrim (town and village overhauls)Realistic Water TwoWatercolor Noblesse Oblige (get fine clothes replacer)Omegared99 - Gallery of Armor by Omegared99+Omegared99 - Gallery of Armor - Replacer Patch WIP by Halendia and Omegared99Common Clothes The lightest setup for better graphics:Shift Enb (watch guide on how to install)+Climates of Tamriel+ELFX http://static-4.nexusmods.com/15/mods/110/images/57935-2-1410130628.jpg
ZZZ02
your definition of "bad-ass" is very broad but here are some ideas. Cutting room Floor: restores cut content Diverse guards Skyrim: More variation plus gets rid of the "sexism" problem that the legion seems to have Guard Dialogue Overhaul: hard to describe but the description gives a strong hint Dragon combat overhaul: makes dragons much tougher and smarter (also seems to work for mod added dragons) Interesting NPCs: many new characters and quests with full voice acting Better Vampires: more powers and dangers to being a vampire be sure to read the website thouroughly Moonlight tales: Morrowind style lycanthropy plus more features Immersive weapons/armor: self explanitory immersive creatures: new creatures plus additions and variations for existing ones. (argonians) Horns are forever: causes horns to show up through helmets Skyre or Perkus maximus: major overhaul mods can't list everything about them, Perma is newer but skyre affects more Apocalypse: well done and very balanced Colorful Magic: VERY OP but the boss fights are epic
