zero23x1 Posted December 3, 2010 Author Share Posted December 3, 2010 the game runs fine at medium, bit of lag at high but i dont really care. now then back to my problem, i found the app folder and deleted the oblivion file like u said and cleared the registry of oblivion and unistalled it and made sure all files were gone but the same problem happend. Smooth613 Posted December 3, 2010 Share Posted December 3, 2010 When did the game work fine? You simply said you tested it. Did you ever actually make it out of the tutorial dungeon? Unsupported chipsets work through the dungeon many times and crash immediately upon entering the wilderness. If it does happen to run performance will be poor, but maybe acceptable depending on the user. You still never answered where you have Oblivion installed so we could determine if this is a UAC issue. It's very hard to troubleshoot when there is little information and unsupported hardware. I'll make one final recommendation, it's all I got for you on this. If you do have Oblivion installed in Program Files you need to reinstall to an unprotected directory to avoid UAC interference. C:\Games\Oblivion will do just fine.
