NewContent
Hey guys, I'm noob at mesh modding and I have a question. How can I add t-45d shoulder plates to the bounty hunter duster's shoulders?
dazzerfong
Let's see: you'll need Blender to cut away the shoulders first. Once you cut it away, it's NifSkope time.
NewContent
So what do I do? Download blender?
dazzerfong
Pretty much yeah, or if you don't like Blender, you can fork out $4000+ for 3DS Autodesk.
WastelandAssassin
look at this tutorialit is for Oblivion, but it's basically the same process, just with different armors
dazzerfong
That's only part of the job: I'm pretty sure the power armors are linked to the shoulder: he'll need to split it up using Blender. @WastelandAssassin: on a sidenote, do you know how to mod? Because there are some major differences between Oblivion and FO3 NifSkoping.... Edited December 3, 2010 by dazzerfong

Because there are some major differences between Oblivion and FO3 NifSkoping.... well, i don't really know my way around NifSkope, though i do know the differencesbut since many people have used this tutorial (and if i recall correctly, not only Oblivion users) i thought it was worth mentioning i have tried my way around weapons in NifSkope (though not extensively) but not armors, so i don't really have any idea on how to work armors are there any differences worth mentioning??
