Werewolf_13
I want to convert the Burmecian race from FO3 to FONV but I do not know how to do it. I have downloaded FNVEdit because I read read that I needed that program. Can anyone help me with converting the mod?I contacted the author about the mod but never got a reply so now I want to try to convert it myself for personal use. Quetzlsacatanango
If it is just a race mod that doesn't add anything to the world, you may not have to do anything. Use FNVedit to change the master to falloutnv.esm and be on your way.
Werewolf_13
Thanks for the answer. I opened FNVEdit but when it loaded the .esp's I got this on the log: [00:02] Background Loader: loading "Burmecian.esp"...[00:02] Background Loader: [burmecian.esp] Loading file[00:02] Background Loader: [burmecian.esp] File loaded[00:02] Background Loader: [burmecian.esp] Start processing[00:02] Background Loader: [burmecian.esp] Adding master "Fallout3.esm"[00:02] Background Loader: [Fallout3.esm] Loading file[00:02] Background Loader: Fatal: <EOSError: System Error. Code: 2.The system cannot find the file specified> And then it said that "an error occured while loading modules. Editing is disabled." I can not find the Burmecian .esp in FNVEdit when I load it. But when I deactivate the .esp everything works. And how do I edit the .esp in FNVEedit? Quetzlsacatanango
You have to open it in fo3edit from the fallout 3/data folder first, change the esm, then move the esp to your NV installation. Then you will be able to open it in fnvedit.
Werewolf_13
Got it to work. Thanks a lot! Now I only have to look into the problem were the Burmecians hands are replaced. Werewolf_13
EvillBob
I think Burmecian, the creator of the Burmecian mod (go figure), packed his bags and left Nexus. Really sad since I was waiting for a New Vegas release of this very mod. Looks like that won't happen but hopefully this'll get me gadding about as a Final Fantasy 9 rat-thing.
