Custom Blood Decals... how to stop the red blood decal?

Hi There!

 

I am once again running into a problem I can't find a solution to from googling or from the Wiki.

 

I've made my custom wasp, beetle, spider & ooze... I can't wait to release them!

 

BUT, even though I made a custom bloodspray and decal with a yellow tinge & seemed to have successfully added them to the "BLOOD" tab of the custom creatures, whenever I kill one of 'em in-game there is STILL red blood on the ground. The spatter effect appears to work as intended, tho.

 

I think that maybe my custom decal appears along with a red one, but it's hard to tell.
