Aurilius
I have logged 263 hours playing Dying Light with and without mods via the mod manager. Today my mouse wheel stopped working for throwing items -firecrackers, Molotov's, grappling hook, etc. The wheel scroll for weapons still works, just the throwing part does not. I tried another mouse but it also did not work. I rebooted my computer - did not fix the problem. The mouse wheel click function works flawlessly on a browser or on a work file. I had Steam verify the cache and it found one file missing and replaced it -did not fix the problem. I had Steam delete Dying light and then had it reinstalled - did not fix the problem. I am at a loss as to what could be causing the problem. If anyone ahs any ideas, please help me. I depend on throwing items and for one character the grappling hook. Thanks in advance, Aurilius

Aurilius
Yes. I am using: Larger Inventory, Merged Stuff, and Dying light Manager 11a. I have had them installed since 5 March and have had no problem with them. I switch between mods and disable mods using the Mod Manager when I want to play co-op. I have three characters: one 100% complete at all max levels, one at 5%, and a new character. I was playing the new character Sunday. It played okay and then suddenly I could no longer throw anything. I switched to my other characters and they and the same problem. that was when I started the validation checks and then deleted and reinstalled the game. Aurilius
My problem has been solved. Techland got back to me in less than 24 hours with the suggestion to check the key binding settings. Sure enough the 'Use Equipment' function was set to 'G' not 'MMW'. I reset it and everything works fine. I could kick myself for not checking that a key binding might have been changed. It would have saved me hours of Steam validations, uninstalls and reinstalls. Take care
