Racist Elf Mod

Perhaps they're releasing Concept Art as a Filler while they're doing work which is not "production related" - I.e testing, bugfinding, bug fixing, etc.

Then again, unlikely, and 1.5 years is too quick, considering that something along the lines of DA:O was most likely in the pipeline for more than 2 years.

Keep in mind that DA:O's release was delayed almost six months after BioWare had it ready because the EA Marketing Dept. decided it would be better to have the console versions (PS3 and XBox) hit the street simultaneously with the PC one. It was originally going to be out in March 2009. So in fact, DA2 will have had a full two-year development cycle.

I like playing Elves the most and I always start out racist, although I feel that the emotions are more just an aftershock of bad experiences and prejudice rather than pure racial hate. My characters are eventually softened by the goofy Alistair, ultra nice Leliana and most of all people who take no notion of the character's race. They still flip totally if someone comments their race, but they have realized that they must put their beliefs aside when they are dealing with the Bligh, and doing general Grey Wardening.

There is that other of my Elven females resisted any kind of romance with non-elves, which obviously meant dating Zevran. The other one started out like this as well, but her heart was eventually conquered by Alistair. Half by accident, though. (In reality, I just accidentally boosted up Alistair's approval so much and when he gave me the rose, I said "meh, let's take this ride then".)

Ugh I seriously wish they remained spiteful, in the Dalish Origin they just expect ya to be welcoming of the decision of becoming a grey warden, leaving your clan to fight along side the very quarry you hunt to defend your people from. City Elves, I think have a bit of a good balance in hatred and acceptance since they get to see both sides of human nature. With Dalish they barely even give humans a chance to show ya the other side of the coin so they basically stereotype all humans as one in the same. If I was the one that created Dragon Age Origins, I'd have a male dalish say to Alistair: "Lets get things straight, I was conscripted AGAINST my will. We will never be friends, if by some miracle we do would be because i had a change of heart." "I'm not here to fight for humankind, I'm forced to for my clan so shut up." Or if they try making him wear their grey warden gear he'd say: "Stay away Shemlens! If just one of you put a helmet on my head, someone's going to be walking around without one! *strikes a collumn with the back of his hand causing a crack in the marble." Aka by without one, without a head hahaha.. Ah, to dream...
