Deleted2292416User
Hello people! After installing some mods, my sky started to look always like this when the weather is clear:http://img600.imageshack.us/img600/8651/screenshot2zu.jpg I tried using Fellout and Dynamic Weather, both gave the same result. Interesting, when I deactivate all "weather mods", the game still gives the same weird effect. I even tried cleaning the /textures/sky folder. I've read that HDR can be a bit buggy, but even with original Fallout's weather?? Thanks for any help!
Samustus
Sounds like an ArchiveInvalidation problem. Download it: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=944 Run it. If it is already activated and you are having problems, then deactivate it. Run the game. Close the game. Reactivate it. Run the game. Let me know how it goes. P.S. You don't need to install it or keep it running for it to work. Run it. Choose a setting. Close it. Check the readme. GrizzlyUK
Sounds as if you haven't installed ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated. You should also install Fallout Mod Manager which allows you to toggle ArchiveInvalidation on and off quite easily. Sometimes, even with ArchiveInvalidation enabled, newly installed textures don't always display. Easiest solution for this is to disable ArchiveInvalidation and then re-enable it. I'd also recommend getting Little Boy, a handy little utility that sits in your system tray and gives quick and easy access to a number of options and programs. Deleted2292416User
Well, looks like the problem really was with ArchiveInvalidation! I disabled it then re-enabled and now I can finally see the sky! Thanks people!
