Deleted11834868User
I figured I'd share an idea that inspired me to try my hand at digital art and modelling ages ago, which I've just been reminded of as I've started a Morrowind playthrough, modded with several concept replacers.I think one or two sets of seriously ornate, detailed, haughty and fancy bonemold armors would fit in very, very well with the nostalgia of the Dragonborn DLC, in a very similar way to how the one Silt Strider on Solstheim works, hearkening back to Morrowind's Nerevarine days; a bit of a golden age considering the impending doom it faced soon after. While the bonemold in Morrowind wasn't exactly as fantastical as Kirkbride's conceptual work, there are some mods that have attempted to restore that, and I think a touch of it could potentially be brought to Skyrim, especially with the tools available now. Lot's of bits and pieces, bandoleers, flowing robes and capes made with fine materials, segmented armor and banners with Daedric text. The DLC added armors and the Bonemold Expanded mod are both fantastic, but this is another animal altogether. I think it'd work perfectly on it's own, or with a super minimalist quest along with it, in the style of the awesome mod Thrassian Plaguesword (some letters explaining why it's there and a hint as to where it is, a one room dungeon with a single enemy, and done.)Not so much a request, just an idea I've had for ages, and I figured I'd throw it out there in case anyone found it interesting :) if I hadn't failed, this would either be a WIP or fully released by now, but it's no joke to say it'd probably not be a quick job.Cheers!(I'd upload an image, but I goofed up and it's not letting me now. A Google image search for "michael kirkbride art" will do the trick, apologies.)
