help is appreciated."

As well, certain areas in FOOK 2 are flickering while the PC is moving. I've noticed that certain skeletons have spawned inside of each other, and will flicker as a result... is there a double layer of mesh and textures in these problem areas? I have a texture pack installed, but this issue occurred before the pack in question was installed.

That's a ton of mods hehe

Which version of FOOK2 are you using? From the list I would say it's an older version. There is a new version of FOOK2 you should really get. It's much more stable. I'd recommend a fresh install if you're going to do this. FOOK2 is NOT a mod you want to screw with. It changes sooo many things that getting it wrong is a bad idea.

1) Anyway, download the latest version of FOMM. The new Mod Manager tries to help you by listing the most important files in the right order (mod index).

http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=640

2) You should also have 'ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated'. Run the program, activate, and close the program (only need to do this once). That 'should' solve your texture flickering.

http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=944

3) You have WMK, which means you read the install infor and have created a merged patch right? No? then download and install FO3Edit_2_5_1.

http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=637

=============Merged Patch Info==============

- Download FO3Edit v2.5.0 or above to create the 'merged patch'. This should be done after you have installed and activated all the mods you wish to play the game with (and have configured your load order using a tool like Fallout Mod Manager (FOMM)). This is how to do it:

- Run FO3Edit, and a list of all the plugins in your Fallout 3\Data\ directory will come up, listed as per your load order. By default, the plugins you have activated in the Fallout 3 Launcher or in FOMM will have ticks next to them. This is what you want, so just click 'OK'.

- Once FO3Edit has finished loading, right-click somewhere in the panel on the left that lists your activated plugins, and select 'Create Merged Patch' from the context menu. NOTE: If there is an Error loading you won't be able to right-click, so check the directory where you saved the FO3Edit program for a '.log' file. Read it. It might tell you that your load order is wrong. Correct the errors.

- Enter a name for the patch into the window that pops up (any name you like), and click on 'OK'.

- Once FO3Edit has finished generating the patch (it creates a new .esp file with the name you entered), which should only take a few seconds, close FO3Edit. Click 'OK' on the window that pops up to save the Merged Patch that was generated.

- Finally, make sure the Merged Patch esp is loading after all your other plugins (which it should already be, by default), and activate it using the Fallout 3 Launcher or FOMM.

- If you ever uninstall plugins - or install new ones - deactivate and delete the Merged Patch, and then follow these instructions again to create a new one.

=========================================

Try 1,2 and 3. That should tidy your load order and correct a few probs.

If it persists then try the new FOOK2 v1.1 Beta2 and see if that helps.

Good luck.

Thank you for your quick reply.

I have the most up-to date version of FOOK2, and have been using Fo3Edit (that's why i have "patch.esp" at the bottom of my load order :P)... been using it since i started with the whole modding scene...

I also have the most up-to date WMK and FOIP patches. And I have been using Aii; wouldn't have been able to get this far without it. Am also using stutter fix.

I fear that my profile has been corrupted due to Animated Prostitution; i was pimping Nova in Rivet City when her AP script when buggy. Ever since, Stability has gone out the window.

As well, the texture problems only occur in a few spots. They tend to happen with skeletons, as two get spawn in the exact same spot. I can pull the first skeleton and reveal another one. That is why i've concluded that there are two cells or texture spawning in on each other in some areas.

And Samustus: don't waste time typing all that stuff out next time. It's my bad, I should have included that info. Save yourself some time and ask next time if i have the patches and stuff in question; i don't want somebody typing all that stuff out only for me to say "got all that already" and then feel like crap for making you type that out :P

Thank you for attention and assistance

Ah.. nice catch about FOOK2 blove. I thought he had an old version because of those old FOOK2 files he didn't delete, heh.

All those conflicting files, no wonder.

[X] FOOK2 - Main.esm

[X] FOOK2 - [DIK] DLC Improvement Kit.esm

These two ideally should come right after CALIBR.esm. But, if those other mods state otherwise, then fine.

It didn't take me long, and when someone posts I have no idea how proficient they are. It's easier to just blurt it out and go. I also didn't know when you would reply.

The merged patch instructions were just c&p'd from WMK, anyway.

Oh.. and you're welcome. :)

[X] Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch - Broken Steel.esp <--- remove known to cause problems

While the Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch - Broken Steel.esp is known to cause problems, particularly anywhere near Rivet City, there's no need to actually remove it. Just get the fix for it:

Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch - Broken Steel (RC and Utility Tunnel Fixes)

A lot of players simply do not know about this fix and go around telling others to delete the Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch - Broken Steel.esp because it's broken. I've been using that fix pretty much since it's been available without any problems! I've also recommended it to other players who have ALL reported back that it fixed their crash problems in and around Rivet City! I only recommended it a few days ago in the Fallout 3 started crashing all the time thread and it solved that person's crash problems near Rivet City!

I'd also suggest that you move the Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch.esm to right after the Fallout 3.esm (the readme tells you to load it first but it's fine to load it after Fallout 3.esm).

You should also DELETE any .esm/.esp files that you have disabled to prevent the game loading them. Even if you've disabled them, if you load a save game where they were enabled the game can and will load them. The game can also load disabled .esm/.esp files if it thinks it needs some resources from them. Always clean save when you plan on disabling any mods, then disable the mod via whichever mod utility you use (I prefer Wyre Flash, but FOMM will do) and then delete all files associated with the disabled mod. Load your clean save and make a new save immediately, then continue on from that new save.

It's possible that you still have either a Load Order issue or a conflict that's not being resolved correctly by the FO3Edit merged patch. The majority of the mods you're using I don't use so I have no knowledge of any particular problems between those mods. If you're only getting a crash in a specific place, then that helps narrow things down to the mods that affect that place. Other than the usual trouble-shooting steps for isolating a mod that's causing problems, you could try loading everything in FO3Edit and see if there's any obvious conflicts that you can resolve. Beyond that, there's not much else I can offer, hopefully others with more experience using those particular mods will be able to give more specific advice.
