Newbie question

I wasn't sure where to put this.

 

Sometimes when reading mod descriptions I see references to body types? "Type 3 body"? What is that referring to?

the Type 3 body mod, is probably the most popular body mod for FO3, which is also the base to the most popular body mod for New Vegas (there are the Type 3, and the Beware of Girl Type 3)

these are body mods, that add specific meshes and textures for the body of NPCs around the waste

when you see an armor that shows some skin, that skin is using the texture of a specific body

if the mod tells you to use Type 3, then the textures used are the Type 3 ones, so if you use any other textures, the skin on that armor will look weird, and not as intended

 

if you want to find the Beware of Girl version, it should be amongst the top of the mods out there (go to the Top 100, and click on the "most endorsed of all time" it should be somewhere at the top)

if you want the normal Type 3 mod, you will have to search for it (can't remember the link, but i can search it for you, if you want)
