Fix for the landscape

Hey people looking at this page. I know you're behind a wall of some form back there. Either way, I'll let the topic maker speak.

 

I kinda got a problem with the landscape. I don't mean certain places, I mean all forms of grass and sand. Sorry I couldn't get a screenshot but the grass and sand textures must be either missing or nuked. I did a reinstall because oblivion wasn't working, and now all the grass and sand looks like a purple version of the world map. I can't even figure out what just happened. What I need is either a mod that replaces the textures with the originals (I know that kinda is a contradiction) or the original textures for it and a way to enable archive invalidation. Probably need the archive invalidation for both. So anyway, I put this in mod requests just in-case I need a mod for it. I'll eventually get back on oblivion and get a screenshot up here.

if the textures are purple, then it's an Archive Invalidation problem, as in you didn't do it

after you install this and all, it should probably work well

 

and if the original textures don't work for you, just re-install the game, and that should fix it (i don't think it's possible that even after re-installing the game, and removing any mod that changed grass or such, the problem will persist)

No fix. I installed the Archive Invalidation but it's still the same. I have no mod that changes the grass, and this problem came AFTER I re-installed the game because it wasn't working.

Never mind. Wasn't re-install, archive invalidation, or mod that caused it.

Just had to download the original shaders. I'm leaving this as the answer for anyone with this same problem.
