MentalGear
I also find it very rewarding to do big tours through the wasteland. There are several places for random encounters. Now on my third playthrough I found lots of new stuff and locations. And it is impressive how much little secrets this game has (e.g. Keller family). With help of the F3 Wiki you find so much items in places you wouldn't even care to look. Atm I will get myself the Reservist's rifle.Timewise I would say I spend 70% of the time wasteland roaming or following those intriguing unfilled triangles :ninja: . Staghound
Same for me .... and long after the Enclave appears to have been destroyed, you still find Enclave outposts, wandering patrols, and even Vertibird drops, all over the place. And of course not all places of potential interest have way-markers on them, so exploring is not just a matter of moving from unfilled triangle to unfilled triangle
