wardenknight99
Does anyone know if there are any mods that allow more than 4 party members. I have the mabari mod that allow the wardog to be a 5th member, but wanted to know if there were any that allow for more companions?
RustyBlade
No, there are none but you can use the console command runscript zz_addparty NPCname to add any that are left behind in camp. You won't get an icon for them and you can't take control but tactics and inventory are accessible and changeable.
Thandal
Welcome WardenKinght; [Ninj'd by RB! ] The Console Command "runscript zz_addparty [NPCname]" will add anyone and everyone. NPCs added this way will have a default set of gear, and not be fully "controllable" in the way the regular party members are. (Plus, no Party Banter with them :( ) *** CAUTION *** Adding companions you have not yet recruited in-game can break the plot, and in extreme cases even leave you stuck unable to finish. There are no other mods that increase your party's size. Seems to be a hard-coded limitation of the Eclipse game engine itself. But seriously, even just adding Dog (with the "Full Combatant Dog" mod, of course) increases your overall firepower by about 20%. More is just... more. Hope that helps! RustyBlade
The Console Command "runscript zz_addparty [NPCname]" will add anyone and everyone. (Plus, no Party Banter with them :( ) As long as you have already recruited them, they come with the gear you have equipped them with, not a default. Using that command to bring in a character that has not yet been recruited can have many unintended consequences, the least being that you don't get the dialogue(s) you would when you recruit them normally, the worst being that it completely borks your plot lines and ending. Thandal
Interestingly, companions get the "default" gear even if you have recruited them... if they've since left the Party! Happened to me when I refused the DR but still wanted Morri for the Siege of Denerim and Final Battle. (Guess I just presumed it was the case for all addtions made that way...)
RustyBlade
I guess I should have said "as long as they are members of your team" - call it a semantic error :wallbash:   Of course if you take that little twerp from Dark Times and don't sacrifice him all bets are off because he managed to really mess everything up - uniforms disappearing, skills vanishing, entering parts of Denerim that have never before been seen (and can't be unseen.) I wanted to get a full party shot with him in the picture but half the companions I consoled in were naked  Next game he dies
