vram1974
I've been operating under the assumption that when it comes to textures, bigger is better. So I've been downloading 4k textures as much as possible. But I'm wondering whether I'm overdoing it. My resolution runs 1360x768 so am I downloading textures for pixels I can't even render? Am I better off downloading 2k or even smaller textures? Is there somebody who could explain how it works or give me a link?
yellowjacket81
https://developer.nvidia.com/4k-ultra-high-resolution-development It seems you're overdoing it with 4k.
vram1974
So if I'm running 1360x768 I should be looking more into textures in the realm of 2000 or 1000 pixels? I see 512 textures and I guess those would look pretty bad.
