I'd forgotten to rebuild my Merged Patch after I disabled it and the problem was being persisted. The problem is that, for some reason, the compiled patch had removed the "Has water" flag from the bathhouse cell. It may have been to fix some lock-up problems that I recall reading about so, now that I'm in, there might still be problems. Or maybe this addressed a problem that was fixed in the last official patch. We'll see I guess. All I did was go into the GECK, find that cell, its editor ID is ULBath, and restore the "Has Water" flag and set the water type back to ULBathhouseWater (or similar, it's easy to find in the list). Now I have a clue on things to look for in the Vault 34 situation. It's too bad that compiled patch isn't being maintained any more. [EDIT] The following cells all have the "Has Water" flag removed: Vault34a (1st floor), Vault34b (Reactor) and Vault34c (Armory). Oddly enough I'm seeing this done to a number of places where I didn't have any problems -- Value 22 for instance.
